Raised on everything from bluegrass and Irish folk music to jazz, soul, and funk Lock was already exposed to a wide range of music long before becoming a dj. After moving to Atlanta he began to take an interest in punk rock and hip-hop. He teamed up with Baltimore emcee/producer JS1 to build from the ground up an internet radio station www.vvcradio.com. The station is home to Baltimore club Dj Diamond K, ATL’s Pako The Panik, Chance, Dj Scizzahandz, Clayton English and many more. Lock’s “Hate City” show plays every 2nd & 4th friday 8pm-10pm. In 2007 Lock started working with Noci the Misfit on his cd “The Suburban Decay” after which they formed Atlanta hip-hop unit Skrull Invaders. An extremely focused turntablist, producer, and business man he is currently working on projects with Skrull Invaders, Blctxt, Ivan Ives, Harlowe Grenades, and D.Twyce as well as working on his solo project “Soul Search Engine″
